John Jones

John Jones’ practice focuses on trusts and estates, wealth transfer planning and probate.

John is well known for his decades-long work as the principal drafter of the highly regarded SunTrust Will Book.  The SunTrust book of recommended Will and trust forms is the leading form book for practitioners in Georgia.  John has assisted many clients in devising and implementing sophisticated estate planning strategies.  In addition, John has helped families in a number of complex estate administrations and estate and gift tax audits.

He has also been a guest speaker and lecturer for numerous organizations, including the Georgia Fiduciary Law Institute, and has written several articles.

John’s career began at the law offices of Robert Fisher, a King & Spalding alumnus. He joined King & Spalding in 1996 in the Trusts & Estates practice group, and joined Wallace, Morrison & Casteel, subsequently Wallace & Morrison, in 2011.
